Friday.

Even though we had Wednesday off this week, it felt long. Most likely the 100+ temperature have something to do with that. Westley is gone this weekend, off to another bachelor party. I'll enjoy having a little alone time, but I imagine by Saturday evening I'll be wanting my buddy back.

The only thing on the agenda for the week is packing for the beach. It will be nice to have a few days of now work to spend with some good, funny, favorite friends down by the ocean.

The nightstand.

Almost three months in and I still love waking up and seeing this on the nightstand. Looking forward to the fourth of July holiday tomorrow. It will be a nice and relaxing day spent with good friends and some good food.

Walking around.

When you marry an architect you spend a lot of time taking photos of job sites. It's alright though, if I don't complain too much, the walk usually ends with an ice cream cone. I'm a lucky girl.

What an active cutie.

I've been asking my sister for weeks to get a silhouette photo of my nephew. He has the perfect little profile, with a little ski jump nose. Finally when they were visiting last week, I took matter into my own hands and tried to get a photo. This is just a small sample of what I got:

That boys is on the move, he would not sit still for anything. The best one I got was when he settled down for only a moment to yawn:

That's right! We are married! We are home and processing the whole wonderful weekend. We get near tears all over again when we think of how many family and friends traveled to share the day with us. Details and photos to follow, but right now we are just going to continue to celebrate.

Going to the chapel.

Look what my mom has waiting for me at home:

Flight home is booked for the week before -- I can't wait to get there and finish all the last minute details.

Final countdown.

In less than 20 days, I'll get to call this guy my husband.

We are enjoying our last couple weekends as an engaged couple. Westley is doing an excellent job and keeping me grounded while we put the finishing touches on all the wedding things.

This week we are going to get our marriage license at the very courthouse I served on jury duty. The jury duty that led me to meeting darling Westley. It's nice to think how far we've come. We've got so much celebrating to do April 21.
